Our Oil and Gas clients are in Mesaieed and Ras Laffan. Here are the minimum qualifications and job requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Diploma or equivalent in any engineering discipline from a recognized institution.
- Middle East/Gulf experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in English language (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Understanding and adherence to plant safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to write and express ideas, instructions, and procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with SAP (PM/MM).
Minimum Work Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of fieldwork experience in refinery or petrochemical Oil and Gas plant maintenance.
- Strong practical experience in multi-craft maintenance activities.
- Thorough technical knowledge in respective disciplines:
- For Mechanical/Rotating: Major rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, blowers, turbines) and static equipment (pressure vessels, tanks, columns, trays, furnaces, exchangers).
- For I&E (Instrumentation and Electrical): Actuated valves, control valves, analyzers, transmitters, DCS/PLC, other instruments, motors, switchgear, transformers, and other electrical equipment.
Job Requirements (but not limited to):
- Collaborate with the planning team to develop job packs for shutdowns.
- Develop job scope, steps, and estimate resource requirements.
- Identify required spare parts and materials for each job.
- Interpret complex P&ID, drawings, specifications, and OEM documents.
- Develop work requirements and job plans.
- Conduct job safety analysis and create JSA documents.
- Ensure work order close-out activities are complete and usable by Maintenance.
- Assist Planners with SAP (PM/MM) functionality and tools required for planning and scheduling.
- Execute work order close-out activities to ensure complete and usable work order data.
