IT Support Specialist (M/F)


Location: Qatar (Local candidates only)

Job Description:

Are you a skilled IT Support Specialist with a knack for cPanel, hosting management, email configuration, and server maintenance? We're on the lookout for a talented individual to join our team in Qatar. In this role, you'll do more than just resolve technical issues; you'll be a linchpin in ensuring the seamless operation of our IT infrastructure and supporting our users.

Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support:

  • Swiftly address and resolve cPanel, hosting, email, and server-related issues for end-users.
  • Offer assistance for software and hardware problems, whether remotely or on-site.

2. cPanel and Hosting Assistance:

  • Collaborate on the management and configuration of cPanel-based hosting environments.
  • Set up and maintain internal employee web-hosting accounts.
  • Handle hosting-related queries and challenges.

3. Email Configuration:

  • Assist in configuring and maintaining email systems, encompassing SMTP, IMAP, and POP3.
  • Provide guidance for email-related concerns, from delivery issues to configuration errors.
  • Help establish robust spam filtering and email security measures.

4. Server Maintenance:

  • Work closely with the IT team to execute routine server maintenance tasks like updates, patches, and backups.
  • Keep a watchful eye on server resources and promptly report performance issues.
  • Contribute to troubleshooting server hardware and software problems.
  • Aid in implementing backup and disaster recovery protocols.

5. Data Management:

  • Skillfully manage and safeguard data using various IT resources, such as computers, software, databases, networks, and servers.
  • Uphold data integrity and security through adherence to best practices.
  • Assist in the execution of data backup and retrieval processes.

6. Documentation:

  • Maintain precise records of company IT assets and equipment.
  • Document server configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
  • Handle software installations and keep meticulous records of software licenses and hardware inventory.
