Job Description:
We are seeking a highly dedicated and skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our team. This role involves overseeing and managing various technical activities related to ongoing projects, ensuring their accuracy and quality. The Senior Project Engineer will play a crucial role in the successful execution of projects, from scheduling and planning to resource allocation and quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to develop project plans and schedules.
- Forecast resource requirements and allocate them efficiently to meet project objectives.
- Ensure that projects adhere to engineering and technical standards.
- Establish inspection criteria to monitor the implementation of project elements.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams.
- Review and analyze project data to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage commercial and contractual aspects of smaller projects.
- Utilize offshore experience to optimize project outcomes.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project milestones are met.
- Foster a culture of safety and quality within the project team.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status preferred.
- Eligible for Certified Practising Project Practitioner (CPPP) certification or equivalent.
- Substantial technical, practical, and leadership experience in the relevant discipline.
- Proven experience in project engineering on smaller projects.
- Strong commercial and contractual experience.
- Offshore project experience required.
- Solid track record in the same field.
- Experience working in GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries would be an added advantage.
- Residing in Qatar with valid QID (Qatar ID) and NOC (No Objection Certificate).
- Immediate availability to join.
