Job Title: Application Engineer
Job Summary: We are looking for a talented and experienced Application Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical support to our sales and CRM teams, focusing on the automotive industry. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting technical issues, implementing and integrating applications, and ensuring seamless functionality within our sales and customer relationship management processes.
Job Responsibilities
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and CRM teams to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions tailored to the automotive industry.Technical Expertise: Serve as a technical expert and point of contact for sales and CRM-related queries, offering guidance and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues promptly.
Integration: Assist in the implementation and integration of our applications within existing sales and CRM systems, ensuring smooth functionality and data synchronization.
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that align with the needs of the sales and CRM teams.
Quality Assurance: Conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of applications in line with sales and CRM objectives.Training and Documentation: Provide training and create documentation for the sales and CRM teams to effectively use the applications, features, and functionalities.
Industry Awareness: Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in sales, CRM, and automotive technology to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with external stakeholders, including clients and automotive partners, to understand their technical requirements and align our solutions accordingly.
Third-Party Tools: Assist in the evaluation and selection of third-party tools or platforms that can enhance sales and CRM capabilities within the automotive industry.Website and Mobile Application Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the performance, functionality, and availability of our websites and mobile applications.
Technical Support: Respond to user inquiries and provide timely technical support for website and mobile application-related issues.
Skills:
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in technical support or application engineering, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Solid understanding of sales processes and CRM systems, with experience supporting sales and CRM teams.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management or related software platforms.
- Technical proficiency in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and databases (SQL, MySQL, Oracle) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
- Knowledge of the automotive industry, including dealership operations, automotive sales processes, or related areas, is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
