📌 Senior Accountant Profile: As a Senior Accountant at UDST, you'll play a pivotal role in our Finance Directorate. Reporting to the Head of Accounting, you'll be responsible for coordinating general accounting operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining financial records in compliance with international accounting standards and government regulations.
📋 Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the preparation and recording of financial entries
- Verify allocation, posting, and reconciliation of accounts
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Provide technical support and advice to Accountants
- Oversee payroll calculations and disbursement
- Support internal and external audits
- Handle month-end and year-end close processes
- Stay up-to-date with Accounting regulations
🎓 Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Accounting Designation such as ACCA/CPA/CA or similar preferred
🌐 Language:
- Fluency in written and spoken English language is required
- Fluency in written and spoken Arabic language is preferred
🌟 Other Required Skills: We're looking for someone with a proactive can-do attitude, strong time management skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to service excellence. Knowledge of Accounting Principles and Regulations is essential, as is the ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the organization.
